hoot's Offender Pathway Personality Disorder project (OPDP) has over 8 years experience working across the North of England in custodial settings delivering music and singing workshops with residents and staff to strengthen their community and for mental health and wellbeing. We have a skilled artist team who work across these settings and deliver music making; including harmony singing, song writing, music technology, rhythm and composition.
'I'm just writing to express my thanks for the workshop that ran today. The feedback from the women and staff was incredible. The women were so full of energy at lunchtime and clearly very enthusiastic about the project, it was great to see. They reported back that "it was the best purposeful session we have ever had".'
If you are interested in having a project based in your setting please get in touch for a bespoke package and costing. We can deliver one-offs, pilots, day long or weekly workshops and tend to work with small groups (up to 15) with 2 artists. Participants need no previous musical experience.
